When the original Star Wars came out, I sat through 16 showings of it. I saw all the original Star Wars the minute they came out. I have seen exactly 0 of the Disneyfied Star Wars AKA Woke Wars. For me they didn't ruin the franchise. For me it just ended.

I was just watching the 2004 BATTLESTAR GALACTICA series. You get some decent battle scenes, but only in between the woke garbage and gratuitous sex....Starbuck is not a female...it was very hard to choke down, and I only watched a few minutes of the original so I had little to compare the 2004 version to.

Paramount owns Star Trek, not Disney, Bill. We would have seen a Star Trek/ Star Wars or Star Trek/Marvel crossover event if Disney owned Star Trek, so thank the good Lord for sparing us from that abomination. Although it's only a matter of time before we see an attempt at one of those two.

Paramount is a division of Paramount Global (used to be ViacomCBS) the last offer to purchase Paramount Global was by Byron Allen in feb for 14.3 billion. The catch would be any potential buyer will sell off parts to bring the debt down. Which means properties like Star Trek, Mission Impossible could be absorbed by someone like Disney.
